I was lucky enough to spend the last few months in the beautiful Sri Lanka....the tear drop of India. Much more western in terms of development than India however, it still had the most wonderful culture and traditions which its people are very proud of.  It was also home the friendliest, happiest people in the world, the Sri Lankan smile is so contagious I miss it.

Festival + Friends + Fantasy = Fun

2/3 Shapes are off to Bestival this weekend, we're looking forward to watching lots of music XX, Caribou & Mount Kimbie are on the must see list . The fancy dress theme is Fantasy so we're busy getting all our costumes ready, it's certainly been fun looking into ideas.

Here's to dancing, singing, dressing up, watching the sun rise and having fun...

Helene

I need to introduce you to Helene , she is an illustator from Cornwall who loves to draw charaters for books, prints and fun. She is an animal lover (this becomes clear when you see her pictures) who likes to surround herself in a world of sillyness ( i work with her so can vouch for that!) .  They are so so good, she has just opened an Etsy shop too so you can have one for yourself - they are limited though so go check-it-out.

Trinkets, Props & Collecting Lots...

The last few months have been crazy busy, we've hardly had time to post. We've been scavenging, making, collecting & hoarding for the new Uneeka shop which is finally opening on Fri.

We've found ourselves in some funny places, thanks to Mummies, Badgers, Brothers and friends for all the help and fun along the way.

We're going to France in 10 days and counting to pick figs....design screen prints, cycle to French markets and take slide film photos.

But you can't have a holiday without a sound track.

The last few months...

have been a little bit of a blur, we have been busing ourselves with what-not and preparing for summertime- Swanning, Carbooting, Stockcar Racing, Mining, Scout Tiger Mooning, Blossoming...its been fun.

The Masked Ball has snuck up on us this year and us shapes are in a dilema about what to wear; 3 days to go and still no outfit in sight! We've been having a look on the net for inspiration....

VICE has just launched Vicestyle.com (with the help of my friend Dylan) their new online fashion and lifestyle platform that features fashion shoots, videos and exclusive insights into the back rooms of fashions makers and creators. As you might already expect from VICE the coverage is not only restricted to the major fashion cities but also shows scenes and currents away from the popular fashion consensus.
